Reference Service:
This service is a very personalized service, where in, the library personnel have a scope to interact with the students thoroughly to know their specific needs to give specific information. The students are encouraged to refer Dictionaries, both general and subject, for the meanings of technical terms and difficult words. Encyclopedias, general and subject, are referred and consulted very frequently by staff and students for preparation of class seminars, Departmental Exhibition, writing of articles, essays etc., Year books are used for various inter-collegiate competitions like quiz etc., Our library caters to the needs of students aspiring for admissions into foreign universities by procuring books on TOEFL, GRE etc. A special collection for competitive exams is maintained and students are encouraged to prepare for Civil Services Examinations by procuring books for the same.
Research support service:
Our Reference Section is also used by post graduate students and Research Scholars of our college and other universities.
